Welcome to the FG forums. Sorry you’re having issues.

Are you using FG Classic or FG Unity?

Either way, go to the Windows application event viewer (assuming you’re using Windows) and check for an event when the issue occurs. Post the full details here.

Thanks for posting.

So the faulting module is the DirectX 3D DLL. This is probably caused by some incompatibility with the graphics card driver installed on the computer.

You could try updating your graphics card driver. If it's up to date, try turning down some of the advanced 3D effects - you can usually specify this on a per application basis.

There’s also been a recent new installer/updater.

Do an uninstall then download the installer from here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?56821-Incoming-Updater-Permissions-Changes and see if that makes a difference.
