Hi there!

I am a D&D 5E DM who is new to Fantasy Grounds and am looking to host a Lost Mines of Phandelver campaign. I am looking for 4-6 players of any skill/experience level with either Fantasy Grounds or D&D 5E. I am happy to assist/teach as required for anyone willing to put in the time and attention to learn.

About Me:
I am a mid-20's female, from Canada, who has been hosting and DMing local D&D 5E meetups for 5 years. I have a very relaxed DM style, and am happy to adjust my games and certain rules to further the enjoyment of my players. My hobbies include D&D, playing board games, learning about technology, and baking.

Please feel free to reply to this thread, use the Calendar listing, or PM me if interested!

Applied on the calendar - but since it didn't give me the option to let you know anything about me:

I have never played online before, I would be learning the online systems required to do so, but have no problem doing that assuming nobody else cares.
I am a married male in my late 30's, and I have been an RPer since a teen, with experience in many systems and games. D&D 3.5 was the longest experience with DnD. I have not played 5th ed, but have watched many games and have no trouble with the concepts. Details may be asked about, but not much.

I work retail, so my schedule is unpredictable, but I rarely work past midday my time (UTC -4 - US East Coast), I know that the next 3 Saturdays are fine. I will be playing in another campaign on Sundays running through the same content as a rogue, so I'll have to co-ordinate with players to roll a character to bring what is needed to the party, with the exception of playing as a rogue, since I'll be doing that after.

Very interested. I have played D&D 5e since its release. I did try to run this adventure once when it first came out but we didn't make it past the first chapter and I don't remember much about it anyway.

I've almost always been the DM in my old group so it would be very nice to get to play on the other side of the screen. I have no preference on character and I'm perfectly willing to make a character complimentary to the rest of the group. When I have played in the past, its usually been a Warlock or Paladin or Bard (I guess I like Charisma).

I would be interested, I've played 5E since it came and I'm pretty good with Fantasy Grounds and I have an Ultimate license for both Classic an Unity.

I also like to cook and bake, mostly sourdough. My starter is going on 4 years old now.,

I am interested in joining but I am a brand new player to both dnd and FG. I understand the concepts around AC, skill checks, saves etc. from playing video games in the dnd universe (Bladurs Gate, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter etc.) and from watching Critical Role but beyond that I have never played an actual game of dnd before. I have put a request in on the calendar in case some players are not able to make it.

I would prefer to play quite simple character for my first game such as warrior, barbarian or maybe paladin or ranger with less spells so I do not ruin the flow of the game, although I would be happy to play a character which would make a balanced party.

I am currently thinking along the lines of a true neutral, retired soldier / mercenary whom would start out jaded from all of the killing in their past but would develop through the heroic actions undertaken during the campaign and move towards the good side of the spectrum. Pretty generic stuff to start out with.

My timezone is GMT +1 (UTC +0) so it would be 8pm to 12pm local time for me which is fine. I also have got physical copies of the DM and player handbook for 5e which I bought 2-3 years ago with the intention of trying to find a game at a local gaming store and I will read up on the rules this week. I have also booked a class at the Fantasy Grounds College focused on character creation for tomorrow which should be helpful.

I come from Lancashire in England, 36 years old and I work in data entry / admin for our National Health Service.

Kind Regards

New to 5th Ed. Haven't played in a number of years. New to FGClassic but I've done a couple of character creation sessions and a one shot.
I'd love to hear from you. I understand it's full. Please put me on the waiting list.

Please add me to the waitlist :) I have been an avid rpg gamer since pencil and paper days in the 80's. Been playing games on Roll 20 and FG.
Recently started Dm-ing for friends with FGU but would love to join a campaign as a player. I would like to play a deep gnome Gloom Stalker Ranger or a dwarf
tempest domain cleric. So if a space opens up please consider me :) Thank you for your time. Good luck.

LFG (UTC-4 or 5 not sure) I currently work 40/week but I can be available evenings or selected time on the weekend.
I'm new to FG but I've played D&D since high school. Fell in love with my first elven fighter and almost cried/fought when the DM killed him (and my pet wolf).

I have all the 5ed books and I'm grown so I'm willing to pay for a subscription to the FG-whatever if needed. I have discord and a laptop. I won't steam anything bcz I play for the enjoyment of the game. I'm very loose and bad at method-playing but won't hard core tease anyone who goes deep into character.

Please let me know if there is a spot open for your game I think you sound like a wonderful DM and would love to check out your game. I'll even play a cleric (reluctantly) if needed. ” you guys know I only have 2 heal spells correct? #learn2run”.

Would like to be added to waitlist, have played games of almost every edition of D&D and would like to join a chill group for whatever silliness is involved. Open to writing a char to fill the group's needs. Thanks for your consideration.

She is an incredible DM! I ended up taking part in this campaign primarily to see how another DM utilizes FGU. Though I had run several groups through the adventure myself, I was hugely impressed with zeldaharvestmoon's versatility within FGU and her ability to make the adventure feel unique for the group of which I was a part.

So much fun was had!

It took a few months of weekly playing to complete the adventure, but it never seemed to drag on. In fact, I noticed how every week players would arrive on time, if not early, just so we could talk more about what had happened and what was expected to happen next. Everyone was keen to continue, and I feel that in itself is a testament to the quality of DM zeldaharvestmoon is. I would readily recommend her as a DM and I will be looking forward to signing up on her next campaign!

I also had the pleasure of sitting in on this game as well. Zelda did a fantastic job at keeping us motivated. She was well prepared and rolled with all the insanity that we threw at her. As a forever home dm myself, she put in the work to prep and made sure that we stayed on task. She added new maps when the module provided maps were lacking and it added to the story. In short, she is fantastic and worth showing up early for. Thank you Zelda
