Need some help from Mac users (lost character)

I launched the character manager today and was greeted by this message......

The mentioned path is very Windows, and I cannot find the folder or file anywhere.
Does anyone know where backups are stored on an iMac?

Pretty keen to get this guy back. Spent ages on his back story!

I'm not familiar with Macs either, but I believe they are stored in the FantasyGrounds.dmg package as part of the Wineskin virtual machine. Have you tried opening that?

The only FantasyGrounds.dmg I have is the actual app installer

Somewhere in your userpath there will be a wineskin folder. Dig into that.

No folders anywhere called wineskin.
There is a SmiteWorks, but I've been right through that and found nothing.

You'll need to right click on the Fantasy Grounds package and choose "show package contents", which gives me three folders, "contents", (shortcut to) drive_c and Wineskin. Choose the shortcut to C and then you are in the 'windows' file structure and you should be able to follow the path to the 'characters' folder

Could not restore my character however.
Doesn't matter anymore, I redid it.
