Attempting to Join a Campaign stuck

I tried to join a campaign and it says

Attempting resolved connection to server. Then an IP address and doesn't do anything and sits there

As noted in the Connection Issues thread of the Playtest forum, please provide the console log and the network log from both the GM and player machines to see what is going on.

Also, please make sure that you and your player are on the latest version - v4.0.0. (2020-04-22).

Hi there - I had the exact same issue last night. Prior to that, it was working fine. As we eventually got through and playing (after about an hour of struggling) I can only guess at a server being down and all load balancing going to a single (or reduced number) of nodes - i.e. the remaining server(s) being overloaded, with a dramatically bad response time as a result. There again, I am legendary for "over interpreting" stuff :-)
