Keyboard language messed up

Hi there,
Me and two friends are playing a first campaign with FG, but we ran into a couple of problems. I have a full-license and they have player-only licences.
1 - The clients keep getting disconnected. Especially the one who has the PC with the lowest memory (448 MB), but, after some search on this forum, we managed in our last session to cut on this a lot so it is not really a big trouble anymore.
2 - This is ours, well my, biggest problem. After using FG for some time in a session, my keyboard language switch from English (Canada) to English (US). It may happen anytime, either after some seconds of play or after fifteen minutes. But it happens most of the time when I use the HALT and CHAT icons on the chat window. This is really frustrating as all of my keyboard keys get messed up. So it takes me forever to write a simple sentence. When this happens, every other applications still uses my default keyboard language, but not FG.

Anyone else had similar problems ?

Didn't think there was any diff between Canadian English and American English ;) Esp when it comes to keyboard mapping...

As for why its happening - one of the more common key combos in FG is "Alt-Left Shift" - which also happens to be the default config for switching languages on a machine that has it enabled :) As for why it may happen when you're using those commands thru a mouse click (I'm presuming) - that one has me stumped - as the only way I know of to switch languages (aside from choosing them from the menu on the Start bar) - is through the key combo...

Only way I know of disabling it is to disable the feature completly - and I don't believe you can "remap" FG shortcut keys - tho I've never tried :)

*ps - just noticed yer from Quebec - that'd explain the differences in the Englishes ;) I don't use the French option on my settings. Its a Windows thing - so you may need to double check your language settings to see what hotkeys you have associated with the language switch. Since you're using your mouse - you may have the hotkey to do the switch mapped to mouse clicks...*
