Running free version. I have restarted as an administrator, uninstalled like 5 times and restarted my computer as well. I've also tried updating it even though there is nothing to update on several attempts. My friend has the ultimate edition of the game, and my husband was able to log in to their server after a first uninstall and reinstall. The Server is password locked and after I put in the password I still get the same message and never load in.

"Attempting resolved connection to server. [167.99.162.76:56452]"

Have you entered your forums user name, password, done a Log In and Save from the FGU settings window?

Can you attach your network.log and console.log files?

I pushed a new update today that provides feedback on whether the lobby is still connected; which is one of the issues I found which caused this issue. You and the GM can update to grab the latest.

Also, some people have reported that passwords on the campaign might be causing the issue; so the GM might try running as Cloud-Private without a password if still an issue. Still looking into this one.

Thanks,

Just to note for Devs,
One of my players is getting the same problem with the passworded game. Going private fixes the issue. All fine for my other players though.
Weird!

Is your player on Cox, Comcast, Shaw or Xfinity?

Same for me, we are on Spectrum Mid-Atlantic area... is there a DNS DDoS or something? Ive noticed its changed from a IPv6 (when it worked) to an IPv14 (now that it doesn't)

Here is nslookup from one of my users

C:\Users\pmbfo>nslookup
DNS request timed out.
timeout was 2 seconds.
Default Server: UnKnown
Address: 209.18.47.61

What DNS server do you recommend?

Thats not how nslookup works
In effect you have told the nslookup to use the game server as a dns server which it is not so then it tries to resolve the ip address as a name to an ip address.
Neither of those are valid so it should fail as it has done there.
