Hey all.

I am currently in the middle of a mini quest/adventure as the DM for my group.

I have an encounter where Crystals in the area are summoning Undead (Zombies) from the ground below. I want to be able to create a spell which Summons 1d4 Zombies, so that each Crystal has the ability to cast this on each turn.

Now I understand I can create a mock spell called Summon Undead, how do I make it so that you're able to cast the spell itself?
For example, Magic Missile, "A dart deals 1d4 + 1 force damage to its target." When locked, you can mouse over this line and it's highlighted and you can double click to cast the spell... How can I add a similar command to my spell to Summon the 1d4 Zombies?

Just having the line in it doesn't work, so I assume it's something to do with FG understanding the 1d4 + 1 damage command?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Tak

You can't do this with a spell. Monsters typically belong to the DM and you don't want a zillion player monster's everywhere. Spells are only automated for damage and saves in FG. For an adventure like this you would just make a table that generates an encounter with 1-4 zombies and roll on the table everytime a Crystal's initiative comes up and add the zombies to the tracker.

You can see the details of creating a such a table here on the wiki:

Thanks for the reply.

I had a feeling there wouldn't be an option for this, I understand what you mean. Yeah I'll stick to the table method, it was my plan b for it if I couldn't get the spell to work. Cheers!

Yeah easy to do with tables, if you aren't that familiar with tables then the youtube vid here walks you through it:
