Sharing Abilities to other players

Not sure if this is a technical issue, or setting issue so I'm trying here.

I created a list of abilities for Potions and stuck them in a note to share with other players, letting them drag a potion ability over to their character sheet. It works for me, however the other players are getting an error when they try :

Unable to open window using wildcard link, because no module containing that link is open.

Thoughts?

You are a player right? Won't work because Notes are owned by you. The GM needs to share the linked record with the other players. It's best if the GM creates these types of things and then shares them with everyone.

I had a feeling this was the case. Would he be able to pull the abilities out of the character and create a note?

Yes. But it would probably be best if s/he created them in the Effects list (small icon top right) and then everyone can use/drag them as needed. They could also be done in a generic PC and then dragged to other PCs.
