If you haven't watched it yet they showed the new Pathfinder 2e Bestiary on todays FantasyGrounds Friday show.

Holy hell it looks and sounds amazing. Hats off to all the people who put in the work on this and every PF2e product for FG.

I will def be buying it as soon as they release it, which i hope is no later than next Tuesday lol.

Did they give any indication of a release window or say anything about the Character Guide?

Looking at the video, it cant be much longer, I suspect they are waiting for the OK from Paizo

IIRC Trenloe did say a few weeks ago that he and SR were sending it off for Paizo approval soon, hopefully that process doesn't take too long. Hard to tell though considering the whole Covid thing lately x-x

Seems it is on steam but not in the FG store. I don't mind, just rather buy from FG.

Personally waiting for it in the FG Store myself.... anxiously hitting refresh.

Is there the normal discount for already owning the pdf from Piazo?

Yes, make sure your Paizo account is synced up. I had to do the sync to get the correct price.

SR & Trenloe, For some entries such as Ancient Red Dragon, the breath weapon is not set up like some other aoe's that some monsters have. Will this automation be added later? I think I can add it but would need to make a copy of the monster first to add it to the sheet?

No creatures currently have ability automation.

I'm building a one-shot adventure tomorrow and I'm so happy to see this just dropped, that is going to save me so much time!

Hello!

I am pretty new to FG and am running Pathfinder 2 as a GM atm. For now and the forseeable future I plan on playing only prewritten Adventure Paths from Paizo (atm on Age of Ashes). I am wondering if this product will bring me any additional functions when running the FG modules of Adventure Paths. As far as I see it I do already have all the data and functions anchored in the bought adventure modules or am I missing something?

Thank you for giving me a little insight in advance!

Greetings from Germany
Lorien

Welcome to the FG forums!

You won't gain anything you need if you're running only an AP using the FG AP modules.

Thank you very much for the quick response :). In that case I rather invest into the LO Character Guide :)!

The world guides are definitely great, and will give your players a lot more grounding in the areas that the APs take place in. Plus, giving players more options is always good. I wouldn't count the Bestiaries out completely, however - they'll give you more options if you need to increase the difficulty of the various scenarios (for example, if you're running with 5-6 players), or if you want to run a quick side job to catch your players up if they're running a little behind on XP or gear (for example, if they decide they've finished up with the main floor of Hellknight Hill without fully exploring it, or if they miss all the gear that they could have gotten there). While it's definitely not necessary, it would still be nice to have. But, again, if funds are tight, the World Guides will get you and your players deeper into the adventures than having extra monsters to throw at them.

The Pathfinder Bestiary is out... and now it's time to start working on Bestiary 2!
Drink some caffeine, you guys.
