Hello!

Not sure if it's allowed, but i haven't found any converter that works to extract infos from GCS and migrate them to FG. So i've started to create one. For now you can convert only skills, i'll do Traits/Spells/Vehicles/Equipments and everything when i have time. If anyone is interested, fell free to contribute.

Repository: https://github.com/YgorCastor/fangurps
Requires: Java 14

How to: java -jar fangurps convert-skill --help

Just fyi - The Mod Maker (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?51192-FG-GURPS-Mod-Maker-for-drag-n-drop-items) allows you to do this.

Ah, good point. I do plan to update the Mod Maker to be multiplatform but I'm not sure how soon that will happen since the whole thing depends on my free time.

edit: will it run in Mono? Not being a mac person and not owning a mac I don't know how to check that.

Not sure by context but if you are referring to a template to transfer character information from GCS to FG, then I came across those templates in the following GCS installation folder on my machine.

C:\Program Files\GURPS Character Sheet\app\Library\Output Templates

There were templates for both PCs and NPCs, with or without 'mods'.

Korath, the GCS to FG export function (described here: https://youtu.be/atTstjdU2_A) only supports exporting Characters. I believe the OP was looking to export info from the various GCS libraries.

Guys, not sure if you are aware of this, but I picked up some chatter about the latest version of GCS screwing up data directories and/or losing files.

If that is true, it should be reported here: https://github.com/richardwilkes/gcs/issues

Well, I do not use GCS, but I saw a thread on Reddit.
