Recommend a visual xml editor for FG?

I want to find a xml editor that provides a bit more than the native xml editor provided with FG. Can you recommend an affordable xml editor, preferably one with visual components, that I can use?

What I am looking for is a tool that is more robust than the editor that is shipped with FG. My crew and I want to find an easier way to create custom db.xml files for our campaigns, specifically with easy controls for adding feature-rich elements such as lists embedded in chat frames, and such. I don't know that FG can parse these tags correctly, but, we want to try. I am the only software-guy in the group, so, I want to see if I can find a tool the other guys are comfortable with using and that does not require a lot of engineering skills (thus, visual components for adding tags).

While you did say "visual", you seemed to like the suggestion for notepad+, which is text based.

If you're gonna go text based, there's no better place to go than the e editor (https://www.e-texteditor.com/). It's basically TextMate for Windows (since the TextMate author isn't interested in a Windows version) and supports TextMate bundles. It's a whole other level of text editing, oh yes it is!

It's simple and straight forward....I'm not sure if it'll meet the visual needs though, but it's free :)
