View Full Version : Stat blocks lots on module import

I custom built an encounter with 3 new NPCs and a few images on my laptop, exported the encounter as a module (according to the guide I found here in the forums), and loaded that .mod file into my main PC's FG folder. The encounter and module appear in the desired place, but none of the stats that I built into my NPCs are there! Just the basic name.

Can anyone help me so that I don't replicate this error in the future?

Did you copy the NPCs or edit ones from a different source? You need to copy the NPC before you add it to the encounter. That way it gets copied/written to the module.

The NPCs were created from scratch and when I went to create the module to export I dragged the icon for each NPC directly into that tab there. I did the same for a few images and the images ported over, as did the entries for the NPCs, but the stats themselves were blank.

You have to export both the encounters and the NPCs. The NPCs listed in an encounter are just links to the original NPC records. If both are not exported, then the encounters will not work right.
