It's so great to spend money on something I cant use or get access to.

Doesn't look like a bug but who knows.

I'm having the same issue this evening. I was on successfully earlier tonight, but haven't been able to access since.

I had this problem in the past and it turned out I was using the wrong License Key code in settings. Once I copied the correct one into my settings, it worked

What version of Fantasy Grounds does it say on the plash screen?
If it says FREE then your license isnt entered and you cant host a game.

Our lobby server is having sporadic glitches as well. We have had to restart the lobby server service roughly once a day as we try to diagnose the root cause. If you check the lobby and it is blank. Please, close out of FGU, wait a few minutes and relaunch and then check again. The Refresh button is currently not re-connecting properly to check if it is back online or not.

We hope to have this issue identified and resolved as soon as possible.

there were no details in the message. Just "Unable to check lobby server". However, last night I was finally able to get logged in so I guess you fixed whatever it was.

This is happening to me, too. I'm on the 2020-04-15 build. My license is correct and in "settings" it logs in successfully. But when load the campaign, it says "Unable to check lobby server".

I'm also having this same issue. Have the ultimate license and everything is input correctly. Never had the issue before, and it is saying I am unable to check lobby server.

Welcome to Beta, early release folks. These issue will get better if we remain patient, calm, and keep reporting errors so that we can help the devs troubleshoot this issue. Since Alpha, FGU has come along ways. Even with the daily updates it has improved. BETA means; "Be Extra Tolerant Always" Please keep reporting issues with the proper logs, documentation, screen shots, and threads.

This was after an update today.
Any idea when it will be fixed?

This error has nothing to do with the lobby server, the updater is failing to launch locally. Start a new thread and detail exactly how you got into this situation and where your install and data directories are.
