Error while trying to access purchases

Hi. I'm having a problem trying to access purchases in Fantasy Grounds.

I go into settings
under Purchases I click manage
in account login area I enter username and password
then click login
> shows "checking credentials"
> runs for 10 seconds and pops up a box that says "HandleUserCookie Network time out"
click ok
> shows "login network error" in red

The updater version is Fantasy Grounds Updater v3.3.8
Fantasy grounds is v.3.3.10 ULTIMATE on steam

I've connected my paizo and steam accounts at fantasygrounds.com and verified the username and password.
