Questions about grids and fog of war when playing D&D 5th edition on Fantasy Grounds

I have some questions about playing D&D 5th edition on Fantasy Grounds Classic edition.

1.) How do I create grids on maps and make tokens snap into place on the grid?

2.) How do I create fog of war to shroud certain parts of the map to create elements of surprise for my players?

It depends if you are using FGC or FGU. Images are handled differently in the two programs.
