Trying to implement Vehicles in the Combat Tracker:
Assuming a WC is piloting the vehicle, how do I get the gunner to roll a Shooting die without the Wild die?

Is there a way to add (or subtract) the Wild Die from a trait roll?
This would also automate rolling a Group Check for Extras.

Is there a way to add Effects to weapon hits (Grappled, Restrained, Stunned, etc) automatically?
Support/Tests: Ability to select a target and apply the effect?

EDIT: Could the Wildcard/Extra toggle on the combat tracker be reprogrammed to add a wild die to trait rolls in addition to just displaying the Benny placeholder?

Hey there. If it is a WC shooting from the vehicle it is my understanding that they would still get their wild die. Though they would likely take the unstable platform bonus of a -2.

This leads to your second question. If the character is an extra and they are around a good bit you could just write them up to a character not defined as a wild card. This would not grant them the wild die. I am not sure of whether there is a button to just add a wild die, but you could always just take the shooting die or whatever and quickly make a dice bucket in the hotkey to do whatever roll you need.

I am not sure whether effects can be added on the hit automatically or not.

On the Vehicles template there aren't separate entries for Captain and crew. If the pilot is a wildcard, all rolls off the template get the wild die. If I keep the captain's mini open, I can toggle Wildcard there, which will properly effect the rolls.

I'm hoping to open only the ship mini and have the Captain make his Piloting roll (with Wild Die) and the crew make their Shooting roll (without) and have the Combat Tracker do it's job and not make me drag rolls from the chat window.

One trick is you can hold down the ALT key while doing a roll and it will do a "group roll" for extras, ie, it tosses in a wild die.

Another solution - have the WC pilot. Make an Extra NPC and add the weapon to their sheet. In the CT group the extra on the same card as the WC/vehicle.

This should do the trick, thanks!
