Looking for some recomendations for the 5E ruleset that tracks renwon or other faction based optional rules. I am also looking for any module that would outline differrent renown rewards, namely in Forgotten Realms. Thank you very much!

I've moved this thread to the 5E forum.

Please don't post requests for, or questions about, community created content in the "Create and Share" section of the forums - this includes the Armory, and its sub forums, as these are really meant for people to post stuff they've made to share it with the community. We really don't want threads with people sharing cool stuff being eclipsed by people asking for cool stuff.

Ask in the RPG system subform if you're asking about something to do with a specific RPG system. Use the Tavern if it's generic.

Thanks.

Create a power group called Renown Points. Go into preparation mode and add in the number of points. Or click on the power group data magnifying glass and enter the points in that.

I like Mr Z's solution. But the option I was thinking of was to just put it in notes of the Log tab. After all the Log tabl is there for AL and the defaults factions are used in AL so...

Anyway, I couldn't find any homebrew regarding any benefits of Reknown with various factions. WotC has published (on their website I think) a basic outline of the default factions and the titles that go with various reknown levels for each. But no benefits are associate with such. Looks to me like an an opportunity for you to create such a resource and maybe distribute it on the DMsGuild (or elsewhere if you adhere to the Fan Content Policy).

There is a renown system of sorts in Waterdeep Dragon Heist. Players can interact with various factions- do quests for them and gain renown. There are good reasons in that module to do so and I'm not going to say why since this would be spoilers. When I ran it the players just used the method I described above and updated using preparation mode when they got more (or less).
