pls help :(

me and my friend just got fantasy grounds and we cant join or create a game !!
he creates, gives me ip or the alias thing and i get the "could not connect msg", and vice versa...
we did everything as said in FG manual...
some help? what could be the reason for this?

Has been a while I had to make a connected, but if you are using a router/firewall, you need to open port 182 (if I am not mistaken) for FG. You can search for this on this forum :)

Edit: looks like it's port 1802 ;)

You are not connecting. Likely whoever is hosting has not forwarded port 1802 properly or winblows firewall thinks you shouldn't control your computer again.

I had the same issue early on and as Ged pointed out above, walking through the FAQ cleared everything up nicely.

oh and 1 more quest, does only host need to forward 1802 port or do joining players need to do so 2 ?
