Hi guys

This is no issues report or so. It is a compliment.

A compliment for SmiteWorks, Mongoose and MadBeardMan for creating something very special!

We had our first big online gaming session with FGU, rolling out 4 new chars in one go.
We used FGU (never got FGC running online, having a very strong security setup)
We used the MgT Ruleset in FGU
We did not use any paper based matererial, only the reference manual included with the module.
We had one new player, who had no idea of traveller before.

Within two and a half hours we were finished. No crashes no nothing.
A lag here and there. Some initial connection problems. Nothing we couldn't handle.
The thing bugging us the most was that little font issue that made the sheets and dialogue windows difficult to read at times.

Again: congrats to all of you working on this: you did a fine job!

I think in the midst of all those issue and problem reports, this is something that needs to be said, too.

Was the issue in MGT2 or was it Unity's font handling? Also was this 1.0.3 or 1.1?

Either way it's good to hear that compatibility is good. :)

In another thread, Moonwizard told me that this is an issue with TTF fonts. Sooo... wellllll ... *shrugs* :)

We will start the campaign next Saturday. Ideal occupation in these times.

It's a scaling issue with TTF fonts between FGC and FGU. This is currently in progress and should be resolved soon.
