I'm setting up my campaign, prior to everyone joining & taking ownership of their characters.
Anyway, today while I was working on it, I had a stranger join & take ownership of an unclaimed character. It wasn't a problem & they didn't do any harm but this particular campaign should be private.
Do I need to do anything in particular to designate a campaign as private ?

FGC or FGU?

Both allow passwords, that's what I do.

FGU allows you to mark campaigns private on the lobby server, players need to know/type in your username in order to find your campaign.

When you are setting up the campaign, there is an option for you to input a password. This is what prevents others from being able to join, even if they have your alias saved from another session. You would just need to give the password to the players that you do want to allow in game.

Great, thanks people. It's classic, by the way. Unity looks cool but I can't really be bothered with beta software & the deal on Classic was good value for money.
