We used to all gather at my home and play with a DM on my FG computer and using a laptop to connect to it and output to a big screen. FG was used for content and maps pretty much. Everyone used their own paper sheets and real dice.

Now, of course, it needs to change. Some of them are against the whole computer rolling thing, ( we just as well play a video game at this point ) uggg. Anyways, they are long time and regular players that show each and every week so i was wondering of there is a way, to let them roll their own dice. Then input there damage or healing or what ever without (( without )) having to go to the CT and do it manually, sort of like a drag and drop to have it do all the calculations for me?

or am i doomed to do the math myself and adjust the numbers in the CT.

Thanks

You can use the Manual Entry option to type in the value of a roll and let the Fantasy Grounds automation do the rest. It's the first entry in the table listed in the Wiki below.

https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/5E_Options

edit: Of course, you dont even have to do that. You can just use Fantasy Grounds as a battle map the same way you would use maps at a table, and run everything manually. It's up to you. But if you want FG to keep track of hit points and calculate to-hit and such, the Manual Entry option is what you're looking for I think.
