FGU low performance while Calendar window is open

I was able to reproduce it consistently,
while a map was open with a snow FX layer, every time i opened the calendar window, the whole app lagged until i closed the calendar window.

We are aware of several areas where performance is not where we want it to be. (modules list, campaign lists with lots of items, etc.) We'll be looking to address performance-issue areas, once we get further along in addressing core issues, like network connections.
