"Error: request time out, retrying in 10 seconds" and download loop

Every time I try to use the updater, I get this message, looped. I often get "Update Complete" but I can never Launch Fantasy Grounds.
It keeps saying "Error: Request time out, retrying in 10 seconds" after it decompressed something.

Is there a way to fix this? I tried to just wait it out, but it never stops, it just continues the loop.

If someone knows how to fix this, or can help me with this, that would be great.

I have tried completely uninstalling deleting the content folders and re-installing. Same issue.

Would you consider perhaps issuing temporary licenses for FG Classic until the issues with your servers settle down ? Or is there an alternative direct download link we can use to get the software down and installed ?

i got an alternative download from a friend, and that worked like a charm.
