Can anyone confirm that Unity does not require port forwarding or a dedicated IP address? It looks like I will be in a hotel for the foreseeable future (house fire) and until my home is rebuilt I am here and I hope to host games.

Correct. Unity has an option to connect via a cloud server which doesn’t require port forwarding.
