Last I saw posted by Doug was that they were in the process of getting it onto Steam, but there was a lot of hoops to jump through to get it into place on the Steam side. No ETA.

AFAIK, they won't be doing Early Access on steam.

Assuming they can get it onto Steam before early access ends it will be there during Early Access.
