If I get the FGU Ultimate would the other people in my group be able to play with me even if they have the free demo?

Welcome to the FG forums.

If you are the GM, then yes. If the GM has an Ultimate license then any FGU license can join their game and play.

Sorry if it's the same question but if I the gm get FGU Ultimate pass and if my other 4 friends have the free demo they can play with me. Do the other 4 plays have to spend money on anything or they get to use what I have?

If you have Ultimate then your 4 friends just need the free demo.

If you buy DLC - for example a Player's Handbook - you can share it out to them when they are connected to you - and they can use the content.

Just in case you were also wondering - its the GM that needs Ultimate for this to work - a player with Ultimate is still just a player, it wont allow others to join leveraging the other players Ultimate.
I wonder if that was a confusing way to write this...
