Hi all

I wanted to create a crazy campaign that took my players from level 1 and all the way to level 20. I have mixed and matched several campaigns to do so. Right now my online group is in the middle of Red Hand of Doom. I think the follwing adventures fit very well together, you just have to kick out, bury, behead and rearrange some of the NPC's.

Here is the Campaign Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRCLgSuBxGc
I'm streaming this aswell on Youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkJWTnkwlnnrHH-ZdahwRww?

The main bad guy in this adventure is the Red Wizard Rath Modar, but of course Tiamat is the ultimate evil that you want to stop. And of couse lets not forget Tiamat.

THE MAIN PLAYERS

Rath Modar. He wants to overthrow Sazz Tam but need help from Tiamat. Will only show himself when summoning Tiamat at the Well of Dragons.

The Cult of the Dragon promised him the help of a Black Dragon if he help them find the Black Dragon Mask which is hidden in the Temple of Tiamat (Wave Echo Cave from Lost Mines of Phandelver). King Obould doesen't know what the Cult of the Dragon is up to. He doesen't know that in order to summon the Evil Queen of Dragons, the Cult need a massive blood sacrifice. And what better way is there to spill blood than starting a war. King Obould is a pawn.

Warlord Dhull the Bloody. The youngest son of King Obould is running Cragmaw Castle. Like to torture people. Have captured Gundren Rockseeker who have found a map to an Ancient Temple of Tiamat where the Black Dragon Mask is. The players witness Azarr Kul pick up the map and leave.

Eluvin Ulverth. High Priest of Lathander and member of the Council of the Moon

Sildar Hallwinter. Old friend of the players, retired Knight in Silver and loyal member of the Harpers. Takes the place over Leosin Erlanthar from the Horde of Tiamat. The players link from LmoP to Rise of Tiamat.

The Heralds of Tiamat. The five powerful dragons needed in the ritual to strengthen Tiamat as she returns from her lair in Avernus. They are controlled by the Dragon Priests. The will not be able to kill them since they are very powerful. But they can assassinate Azarr Kul to remove the Black Dragon Mask and thus remove Voaraghamanthar and kill Onhres Isno if they choose to go to the Tomb of Diderius instead of the Sea of Moving Ice. If the Cult loose control of two dragons they will guard the remaining three dragons at the Well of Dragons and not risk loosing them.

THE STORY

Lost Mine of Phandelver
Renamed to Lost Temple of Tiamat. The Black Dragon mask is hidden in the Wave Echo Cave and both Azarr Kul and King Obould is looking for it. Glasstaff = Severin Silrajin and he is looking for the mask. He leaves clues about the dragon mask in his office in Tressendar Manor. There are letters from Azarr Kul here aswell. Gundren finds the map but is overheard by Cultists so the orcs kidnap him and Sildar. Of course the orcs have Red Hand Banners everywhere. They see Azarr Kul several places in this adventure. In the end they cannot stop Azarr Kul and King Obould from getting their hands on the black dragon mask. There is alot of foreshadowing of Red Hand of doom in this adventure

Red Hand of Doom
Run as intended. King Oboulds children runs the different locations. Days before the Siege of Silverymoon (Brindol) I will reveal the ancient black dragon as he destroys the Silver Knights fortress, Rauvinwatch Keep. The players will realise that they will loose the battle if they do not assassinate the Dragon Priest which is holed up in in the Fane of Tiamat. If they fail in doing this, the Red Hand Horde and the Cult of the Dragon will be victorious. The Dwarves and the support from the North will be removed from the battle at the Well of Dragons later. Old Warklgnaw is their link to the Storm Giants as he can teleport them there. he is the last of the Forest Giants in the area.

Rise of Tiamat
Running the council as normal. Sildar Hallwinter is here. Players can choose between stopping the Dragon priest Onhres Isno as he search for the white dragon mask in the tomb of diderius or doing the Sea of Moving Ice. If they travel north they will find the white dragon Arauthator, Old White Death frozen magically in the massive iceberg. If they didn't stop the Dragon Priest he will awake the dragon later before the Well of Dragons.

After the second council the players hear that giants are preparing for war against the small folk on the sword coast. Another enemy to contend with. If they allied with Warklgnaw in Red Hand of Doom he can teleport them to the Maelstrom for a meeting with the Storm Giants. Run chapter 10, 11 and 12 from Storm Kings Thunder. They attend a Jotunmoot and get the support of the giants in the battle at the Well of Dragons.

After the third council they get to meet the Metallic Dragons. They can do a quest to get dragon mounts and become dragonriders OooOooOO. They do the Neronvain mission and the green dragon and then Castle in the Clouds in a aerial combat with a very angry red dragon. The Cult loose their hoard weaking Tiamat even more when summoned.

After the final council the attack on the Well of Dragons begin with or without support from the North or the Giantkin. Alot is at stake. The players will not attend the battle itself but will fight Tiamat.

If they fail an Era of Dragonkin begins and Tiamat rule supreme. Tiamat and zariel is happy, Bel is and the rest of the Sword Coast is unhappy. This could be a cool adventure.

If they succeed the summoning fails and they will have to deal with her in her Lair in Avernus.

continues in next post....

INTO THE NINE HELLS
This part is an adaption of the Scales of War campaign. Im going to run the following parts:

Betrayal At Monadhan
To thwart a plan by Tiamat's Exarch of Black Dragons, Mornujhar, to slay Bahamut with a mighty ritual, the party must seek out the ritualist. This requires them searching for a hidden demiplane, the opening of which can only be found in Monadhan, a dread domain in the Shadowfell where great betrayers from across planes and times are condemned to live together.

Grasp of the Mantled Citadel
Having found their way to Vaerothim, the extradimensional sanctuary of Mornujhar's ritualist, the party must hurry and slay him before the God of Metallic Dragons perishes.

Legacy of IO
The party failed to prevent Tiamat's plan. Bahamut is dead. And yet, there remains hope: a shard of Io that the gods fashioned into an artifact called the Arrow of Fate, which possesses unmatched influences over the forces of life and death. With its aide, the party can restore Bahamut to life. But first they must retrieve it from its prison, itself created from an unlikely alliance of Pelor, Erathis, Ioun and Asmodeus.

Those once loyal
Though the party has retrieved the Arrow of Fate, restoring Bahamut will be no easy task. Consumed by despair at Bahamut and Tiamat's eternal, costly war, the mithril dragon Dakranad sought to convince Bahamut's seven gold dragon exarches to let their master stay dead and to pass on his divine essence to Dakranad himself. Cast out for this arrogance, the pride-blinded wyrm has allied himself with Dispater, and stands in the party's way of returning their ally to life.

Test of Fire
Bahamut lives once more! Tiamat's forces are in retreat and disarray everywhere, save for her final redoubt: the City of Brass. There, an alliance with the efreeti holds the potential to turn the tide of war back in her favor. The party has no choice but to travel here, slay the last of Tiamat's chromatic exarches, and make the efreeti switch their allegiance to the party instead.

Last breath of the Dragon Queen
With Tiamat's strongholds destroyed and her alliances shattered, her forces are in disarray, fleeing into hiding and abandoning their former mistress across the planes. But Tiamat herself still remains. Now possessed of world-shaking power themselves, the party must put an end to her; breaching her final stronghold, they must slay her Broodmothers - five female chromatic dragons of great power, all hugely pregnant with Tiamat's eggs as part of her long-running experiments in producing true divine offspring - and finally dispatch the desperate dragon-goddess herself.

And that's it. Phew! Questions and prayers will be answered :)
