Repeatable tier 1-4. The subtier will depend on the players. Make sure to decide on a reasonable subtier.

Be aware the current health situation unfortunately causes some unavoidable unpredictability (Internet bandwidth, ...) and may also cause this game to fill up rather rapidly.

Some UTC offsets may have changed recently (USA, Canada, ...)!

Please schedule around 4 1/2 hours for the game (quests tend to run a bit longer).

About the scenario:

A series of four Starfinder Quests designed for levels 1-4.

The Starfinder Society pursues the dream visions of a Liavaran dreamer, seeking information lost in a time before the Gap. Three broken fragments form the key to a forgotten repository of knowledge hidden within the Pact Worlds. It's up to the PCs to find these missing fragments and brave the dangerous reliquary to secure a new source of prescient knowledge for the Society.

Dreaming of the Future includes four, 1-hour adventures that take the PCs into the asteroid field of the Diaspora and across the Pact Worlds of Aballon, Liavara and Verces.

Written by Natalie Kertzner, Nate Wright, Sasha Lindley Hall, and Tineke Bolleman.

Scenario Tags: Quest, Repeatable, Starship

Technical details:

We will use Fantasy Grounds (I have an Ultimate license) and Teamspeak.

Steps before the game:

Make sure to both apply here as well as in the game calendar (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/calendar/index.xcp?id=3920), stating which character you'd like to play.

If you apply, make sure you send me your previous chronicle sheet of the character you want to apply this chronicle to (if you already have any chronicle sheet) either here or on Discord (Fantasy Grounds channel). If it is your first SFS game, I'll at least need your Paizo Organized Play # and your faction.

If you haven't already, also make sure to either build the character on FG yourself (and send it to me) or log in early enough so you can do so on game day.

Make sure you have updated Fantasy Grounds.

FG alias and Teamspeak server can be found under GM announcements in the game calendar.

Other notes:

Also make sure to track your purchases on the Inventory Tracking Sheet.

Be sure to apply on time (if you can make it) as the last games were rather full.

In your own interest, make sure the party is somewhat balanced level-wise.

Some boilerplate clarifications:

Please apply on the FG forums on both the game calendar as well as in the game thread (if multiple household members are playing, one person per household is sufficient). First, it's easier to tell how many spots are already filled that way. Second, the other players (as well as the GM) know what level and class to expect from your character (if you don't know yet, simply state TBD). Third, you'll get notified about any updates if you post in the game thread (at least about the first one). Fourth, it allows the GM to determine who applied first should it become relevant. Some exceptions might apply.

Also, please be sure to check the thread for new messages occasionally. You don't have to check each and every day or every few hours but please make sure to reply to any posts that do concern you in time. Should you remain unresponsive, I'll give the spot to a player that applied after you (as I won't know whether you are still interested in participating or not). Exceptions might apply, e.g. if you state beforehand that you won't be able to respond due to traveling.

If you apply but don't show up or drop out during the game without notice, in future games I might also give preference to other players who have a better track record of showing up. I am aware though that life and technical problems can always happen, so don't worry if you have a valid reason though.

These rules are not in place to prevent players from playing but in fact to enable players willing to play to actually do so. It's frustrating if I have to turn down players if it turns out they would in fact have been able to play.

I'll jump in and have characters for either subtier.

I'm a maybe, with my 1st-level kiirinta technomancer (*if* I don't have to pick somebody up at the airport)

I'm sad: gotta bail on the game -- instead, I'll fetch buddy at airport, take him to his home, high up in the mountains (he lives at altitude 9,900'!)

I hope you'll be able to do so safely.

Make sure to decide on a reasonable subtier with this one.

Would love to join in. Have some experience in SF already

With that the last spot filled.

If anyone needs the server up more than 1 hour before the game to build their character let me know.

Edit: Looking at the character levels so far: Deciding on the subtier is up to the players, though be aware level 1s in a subtier 3-4 games live (?) dangerously.

I can bring a level 4 as indicated. Or a fresh character. What is the current indication?

stephan_

At least three people would be able to bring a level 4, at least one person a level 3. One player will bring a pregen (level 1 or 4, still TBD), one presumably a level 1 (though if everyone else is in the higher subtier, I'd heavily recommend taking a level 4 pregen).

Edit: The issue is that I've already had level 1 character deaths happen at subtier 1-2 with unlucky rolls, so playing a level 1 in subtier 3-4 will not improve the situation. While they can survive it, there's a decent risk.

FYI: Unfortunately no boon slots in this one again (quests).

Is there interest for SFS either SAT March 28th 6.30 PM UTC or SUN March 29th 11.30 AM / 12 PM UTC (be aware DST may come into effect!)?

Most likely a 7-10 scenario (2-04 Future's Fall, 2-18 Forbidden Tides or maybe 2-20 Shades of Spite).

Note I'll also take PFS2 responses (in the latest PFS2 thread) into account to determine the time.

(I'd be interested in the Sunday slot, but don't have a level 7 character yet.)

I'd be interested. Although for 2-04 and 2-18, I'd have to check whether I have a replay available.
(also Saturday slot would probably better for me, Sunday can get a bit tight for me.)

I would like to apply as a drow Mystic academic from a noble drow house. How do I submit my character from the FG app?

You're posting in a thread for SFS again, so no Drow allowed. Also, this one is definitely for games that are already over.

Sorry, just really having a hard time finding starfinder games.

Sorry, just really having a hard time finding starfinder games.

Don't worry. As I mentioned in the other thread you posted in, it's worth subscribing to the Game Announcement thread. At the moment, There's a Starfinder game every weekend (sometimes one gets skipped for real-life reasons).
