Someone brought this up on Discord and after testing I can confirm the issue.
If I make an edit to a story entry from a published module and change the story title and then some text in the story; the only change recorded in the moduledb/name of module.xml file is the title change. the changes to the story are not updated. Hence when returning to the campaign only the title of the story is showing in the story entry and the text has reverted to the original.
If I copy the story and edit the copy; the changes are preserved in the db.xml file correctly.
Edit: The issue also applies to quests. Editing a treasure parcel or encounter seems to work fine.
