So I have harnessed the power of this plague (and the time off work it has granted me) and created a module that hopefully will make Eidolons a little easier in FG.

I created a bunch of Base Forms as Races, a bunch of Subtypes as Classes, and the Evolutions as Spells. This seems to work pretty well in my testing. One caveat though is that saves are determined by Class for PCs and by Base Form(i.e. Race) for Eidolons meaning that for base forms that have a different Good/Bad spread than Bipeds will require the Class be modified. I also opted out of adding the initial free Evolutions to the Base Forms because all the Subtypes seem to supersede those anyway.

Let me know how it works for you. I made this awhile back and nothing seemed to come of it. Enjoy!

Since this has subtypes, is this for Unchained Eidolons?

Uhh...maybe? I honestly just added stuff that was online in the SRD. I'd have to investigate further to be certain. At the time I entered it I had a player considering playing one but ultimately they didn't so I didn't revisit it.

This should probably be moved to the PF1 section.

I am sorry for the silly question but I am kind of new to this, but how does one install this mod?

you will have to get to this invisible directory:

C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\Fantasy Grounds\modules

simply drop the .mod file in there.

in fg, you can access it through the library > modules -- click "load"

easiest way to get to C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\Fantasy Grounds or C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\SmiteWorks\Fantasy Grounds (which Unity uses)
is to click the file folder button in the FG launcher.
