So migrating to Fantasy Grounds from Roll20 due to how feature rich FG is.

I'm in the process of trying to get in The pathfinder first edition adventure volume Ironfang Adventures Book 5 in so I can
run it through Fantasy Grounds.

Doing so (and learning FG at the same time) has brought up some question.
For refrence I'm using the Core rules module and the Essentials PFRPG Bestiary that came preloaded with Fantasy Grounds.
No extensions in use.

1 - On NPCs in the Feats and Special Abilites field is their a way to have the feat or ability names link back to their full description otherwhere in the DB?
2 - I have herolab with all the npcs already in it. Is their a way to export the herolab file into the NPCs? I can pull them into the characters through the character load option, but not the NPCs.

Thanks

Welcome to the FG forums huntsfromshadow!

1) You can only link these abilities by dragging links from the original entry to the Notes tab. The Pathfinder bestiaries available from the store have these built in - see the video here for examples: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/store/product.php?id=PZOSMWPZO1112FG

2) You can use a couple of different parsers to import data in the Paizo statblock format:
https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?20522-Pathfinder-Creature-Parser-V2-Beta-Version There are notes in post #2 on importing HeroLab statblocks.
https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?34199-CreatureGen-Extension-Import-Stat-blocks-on-the-fly-with-populated-spells The last page has a couple of posts with the extension.

If you load the creature parser - it works with hero lab really well. In Herolab do a file->output->statblock->plain text (plain text is a radial choice at the bottom of the statblock) - you can then copy/paste that into FG and import.

You can also import from most PDFs - however you need to be vary careful that the copy/paste didn't turn text into numbers or add spaces - hero lab imports are almost foolproof. You can find all 5 bestiaries (no tokens) for free here on the forums, along with the ultimate equipment and every class/archtype in the game - all free.

There is also a spell mod but it hasn't been updated for a few years so newer stuff won't be in there.

Welcome to FG :)
