So I have a fairly robust encounter table that I want to convert to 5e. I'm aware you can edit the .pak files to allow for campaigns of different game systems to load each other's mods. I'm wondering if there's a more straightforward way than that.

I'm also wondering what the step by step process of exporting the table to a mod would be. Do I just go into the library, click export, check off tables, and then give it a cute name?

Thanks in advance to all the people who give great tips on these forums.

1) Export to a module, basically the steps you said. More info here: https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FGU/pages/950555/Using+the+Library+and+Activating+Modules#Module-Export

2) Use the Universal Module extension to load your module into a campaign for a different ruleset: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?41034-Universal-Module-Extension

Once you open the of module in 5e, you can copy it so now you have a table not dependent upon the module. Then you can edit it if needed since I'm guessing not all your links will be valid.
