We were running a session last night and finally remembered that we could put all types of things down on the hotkey bars and utilize them.

Our ranger put his Longbow attacks onto one of his hotkeys and it works fine for the attacks, but we then figured out that it was not marking off the ammo field like it would if he used the same attack from the character sheet.

Is this working as intended or is something broken when you drag the attack down to the hotkey?

(Interestingly, when you first drag the attack button to a hotkey; it DOES mark a single ammo off.)

It is working as intended in that if you make a ranged attack roll from a hotkey it will not remove a piece of ammo. It isn't a bug; it is just the way that hotkeys work for ranged attacks. Once hotkeyed it can't look back to the character sheet to see what else it might want to do.

Be aare, hotkeys are copies of the actions, not links to the actions. This means that when you level up or their is a modification to the action, the hotkey will not be updated and you will need to update it manually (clear and re-create it).

Thanks for the answer.

Yep, I know about that one. He just likes to have them setup in the hotkeys for now.
