Applying Aid Effect

For 5E, is there a way to apply things like the Aid spell or Heroes Feast spell so that it can increase the max HP but not lose what characters current max HP are?

This would also apply for things like necrotic damage that reduces the characters current max HP.

I have not figured out how to do this in the system/character sheet easily.

Is there an extension that can allow this?

I'm not sure. This extension still requires us to write down the Max HP if you are going to lower it.
