I'm looking to do something super simple. I just want to know how to create a "tick box" on a story/note sheet so I can track resources publicly for my players (I've got a big party I DM for!)

For reference as to what I'm looking for, the same type of "fill in" bubble that the death save uses; but one I can add or remove as players can resources to use. Thanks!

Welcome to the FG forums Eneto.

You can’t just put things like tick boxes in the text controls that story and notes use.

You could just have a numerical counter and change it from 1 to 0. Or you could look at the Inventory section of the party sheet which shows some details of all of the PC inventories and items not assigned to PCs. I don’t know if this will work for you as I’m not 100% sure of your use case.

You could make a "mule" PC and use the inventory as your tracking.

But then everyone wouldn't have access to that. The OP wants some way of tracking inventory accessible by all - which they can do through a story or notes entry. They're looking at quicker/more pleasing ways of that.

My party just leaves things in the Party Inventory. Everyone can see it there and then to prevent it from being sold we assign it to "party" or such. They can't really control the quantity of things, but that's easy enough for me to do.

I might just use the party inventory screen, thanks for the response!
