Rotate SFX Layer?

Is it possible to rotate the SFX layer so the direction of the effect changes? I tried using the layer rotation button, but it didnt do anything. What I was trying to do was use the Myst SFX that looks like clouds, but instead of going right to left, I would like it to go north to south.

If its not possible, thats fine, perhaps a thought for an enhancement some time after Unity is released.

Doug mentioned last Sunday on ATFG that there was the possibility of adding options and tweaks to them, but really only once they've finished bug fixes, getting the base functionality working, optimization, etc.

FX layers can not be rotated, only image layers can be rotated. I'm not sure that the effects system we're using would handle that easily, but I'd have to ask Carl. However, this is a request for after initial launch.
