Tier 3-6, the subtier will depend on the players. Make sure to decide on a reasonable subtier.

Please schedule around 4 hours for the game.

Make sure you use the new FG alias when connecting.

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 3–6.

The Ice Wells of Aballon are half-frozen jungles that line the planet's deepest craters. Preservationist Xenowardens monitor these sites of natural splendor, and they have recently granted the Starfinder Society exploration rights to the Ice Well known as Gullet. Venturing deep below Aballon's surface, a group of Starfinders quickly uncover a threat to the verdant jungles and a growing sickness that could threaten the rest of the planet.

Technical details:

We will use Fantasy Grounds (I have an Ultimate license) and Teamspeak.

Steps before the game:

Make sure to both apply here as well as in the game calendar (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/calendar/index.xcp?id=3721), stating which character you'd like to play.

If you apply, make sure you send me your previous chronicle sheet of the character you want to apply this chronicle to (if you already have any chronicle sheet) either here or on Discord (Fantasy Grounds channel). If it is your first SFS game, I'll at least need your Paizo Organized Play # and your faction.

If you haven't already, also make sure to either build the character on FG yourself (and send it to me) or log in early enough so you can do so on game day.

Make sure you have updated Fantasy Grounds.

FG alias and Teamspeak server can be found under GM announcements in the game calendar.

Other notes:

Also make sure to track your purchases on the Inventory Tracking Sheet.

Be sure to apply on time (if you can make it) as the last games were rather full.

In your own interest, make sure the party is somewhat balanced level-wise.

Some boilerplate clarifications:

Please apply on the FG forums on both the game calendar as well as in the game thread (if multiple household members are playing, one person per household is sufficient). First, it's easier to tell how many spots are already filled that way. Second, the other players (as well as the GM) know what level and class to expect from your character (if you don't know yet, simply state TBD). Third, you'll get notified about any updates if you post in the game thread (at least about the first one). Fourth, it allows the GM to determine who applied first should it become relevant. Some exceptions might apply.

Also, please be sure to check the thread for new messages occasionally. You don't have to check each and every day or every few hours but please make sure to reply to any posts that do concern you in time. Should you remain unresponsive, I'll give the spot to a player that applied after you (as I won't know whether you are still interested in participating or not). Exceptions might apply, e.g. if you state beforehand that you won't be able to respond due to traveling.

If you apply but don't show up or drop out during the game without notice, in future games I might also give preference to other players who have a better track record of showing up. I am aware though that life and technical problems can always happen, so don't worry if you have a valid reason though.

These rules are not in place to prevent players from playing but in fact to enable players willing to play to actually do so. It's frustrating if I have to turn down players if it turns out they would in fact have been able to play.

I'm too late to sign up with Tara, but I would like to be on the wait list -- in case somebody has to bail...

Alright!

As this seems to be subtier 3-4, I'll play Skriikrii again. Time to gain that last XP to bring him to 4th level :)

Any preferences on 6 vs 7 players in this one?

I can say that preparation and smart play is more important than number of players in this one.

That being said, fights still get easier with 7 players.

It would be a great scenario if only some parts wouldn't be so vague...

I'm generally ok with having a 7th player at the table.

Ok with a 7th as well and using volox.

Looking for gear (armor, weapons, upgrades etc) recommendations for 4th level Mystic before tomorrows game if anyone has any wisdom to share? I have 9000 plus credits burning a hole in my pocket....

First thing that's super-useful is personal upgrades (CRB 212).
If you want to fill a healer role, the Staff of Mystic Healing (CRB 224) is worth taking a look.
As for armor, the best you can get at 4th level (not counting early access through chronicles) is probably D-Suit I (CRB 197).
For higher-level weapons, I found so far that the difference in damage isn't worth the trouble of spending all those credits in most cases.
For armor upgrades, Electrostatic Field (CRB 206), Jetpack (CRB 206), and Thermal Capacitor (CRB 207) are all good choices.

The server should be up.

Edit: Be sure you double-check the FG alias if you have not logged in last week.

Chronicle drafts sent.

Note that I can't currently report it on the OSP site as it's not listed yet.

Whether I have time to run anything this weekend is still TBD, the only candidate would be SAT around 6.30 PM UTC.

Most likely either one of the 7-10s (SFS #1-39: The Herald's War, #2-04: Future's Fall or #2-12: Colossus Heist; assuming they don't take too much time to prep/run) or SFS #2-13: Storm of the End Times (1-4).

Edit: Not an option for this week as it likely takes too much time to prep/run but please let me know whether you have a character for #2-14: Data Purge (tier 9-12).

Of those 7-10s, I can currently play Colossus Heist. I might alsobe able to play Future's Fall, although that's not too sure (and would depend on the subtier).

I do have a character for Data Purge (Ysoki Mechanic 9).

It would be great to run more for our party at level 3-4. I would certainly play in a 7-10, but would prefer to get there with my own character, since I wouldn't be able to use the chronicles until level 8.

Thanks for running this one! It was an unusual/interesting story.

Noted on the 3-4. I also know that others want to play their higher-level characters though (some of them exclusively). There is also the issue of finding 3-4s the older characters haven't played yet...

FYI: I reported this scenario as 2-11 to the OSP but it is currently showing up as 2-12 on the paizo OP page. I already sent an email on this issue but it might take a bit to get resolved.
