Hi everyone, sorry if this is super simple and i don't know but i have had a search and didn't see anyone answer this question before.

I have a combat encounter for my players where they are in a little cabin in the woods and there are multiple floors.
IE, Basement, ground and first floor.

How do i run this on Fantasy grounds as some of my party will go up and some will go down and some will stay on the same floor.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Micky, welcome to FG.

As long as all the players are on the CT they don't need to be on the same map. Just open up all the maps and drag the players onto whichever map they are on from the CT. Same for any enemies.

Simple questions can often have complex answers :)

Also; don't split the party :)

If you are making the map, I tend to put multi-level ones on the same image. It doesn't always work, depends on the size, but when it works I like it. Here's an example; https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?38853-Lord-Entrail-s-Maps&p=464258&viewfull=1#post464258

Its the players job to not split up.
The GM should punish the players for splitting up.

Especially in Call of Cthulhu games with survival themed adventures :D
