Hello all. Recently looted a custom sword that has a bleed effect on it. A quick rundown is that before I roll my attack I can announce I'm expending a charge (3 total, 1 returns per short rest, all per long rest) and on a successful attack the effect "Primal Bleed" is applied to my target. On the target's turn they take 1d4+PRF damage per turn unless they make a DC 14 constitution save and then the effect is removed. Does anyone know a way to 1-click automate this? Currently I have one action for the SAVE, and another for the damage effect. On a successful hit I apply the effect to the target, and then on its turn it takes the damage. When it comes back to my turn I click the Save button, and if the target succeeds I then ask the DM to remove Primal Bleed from the target. It works but it has a bit of overhead with having to apply the initial effect, and then remember to make the save each turn.

Thank you in advance

Hi Overnuke, welcome to FG.

What you are doing is the correct method. There isn’t really any further automation you can do. You should be able to remove the ongoing damage effect yourself since you applied it, rather than having to ask the DM to do it.
