Tier 3-6, the subtier will depend on the players. Make sure to decide on a reasonable subtier.

Please note that there is a new FG alias.

A reminder that most countries should be in winter time right now, so double-check your UTC offset.

Please schedule around 4 1/2 hours for the game.

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 3-6.

As the malicious jinsuls continue their conquest of the Scoured Stars system after chasing out the Starfinder Society, the Society's leaders have banded together to learn more of their new rivals. Before attacking the Scoured Stars, the jinsuls had adopted a new homeworld out in the Vast. The PCs join an expedition to this largely abandoned and hazardous planet in hopes of uncovering the origins of the jinsul menace.

Content in Heart of the Foe follows-up on the events of Starfinder Society #1-99: The Scoured Stars Invasion, though playing the previous scenario is not required. Content in this scenario also contributes to the ongoing goals of the Second Seekers (Jadnura) faction, Second Seeker (Luwazi Elsebo) faction and to the ongoing year of the Scoured Stars storyline.

Technical details:

We will use Fantasy Grounds (I have an Ultimate license) and Teamspeak.

Steps before the game:

Make sure to both apply here as well as in the game calendar (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/calendar/index.xcp?id=3689), stating which character you'd like to play.

If you apply, make sure you send me your previous chronicle sheet of the character you want to apply this chronicle to (if you already have any chronicle sheet) either here or on Discord (Fantasy Grounds channel). If it is your first SFS game, I'll at least need your Paizo Organized Play # and your faction.

If you haven't already, also make sure to either build the character on FG yourself (and send it to me) or log in early enough so you can do so on game day.

Make sure you have updated Fantasy Grounds.

FG alias and Teamspeak server can be found under GM annnouncements in the game calendar.

Other notes:

Also make sure to track your purchases on the Inventory Tracking Sheet.

Be sure to apply on time (if you can make it) as the last games were rather full.

In your own interest, make sure the party is somewhat balanced level-wise.

Some boilerplate clarifications:

Please apply on the FG forums on both the game calendar as well as in the game thread (if multiple household members are playing, one person per household is sufficient). First, it's easier to tell how many spots are already filled that way. Second, the other players (as well as the GM) know what level and class to expect from your character (if you don't know yet, simply state TBD). Third, you'll get notified about any updates if you post in the game thread (at least about the first one). Fourth, it allows the GM to determine who applied first should it become relevant. Some exceptions might apply.

Also, please be sure to check the thread for new messages occasionally. You don't have to check each and every day or every few hours but please make sure to reply to any posts that do concern you in time. Should you remain unresponsive, I'll give the spot to a player that applied after you (as I won't know whether you are still interested in participating or not). Exceptions might apply, e.g. if you state beforehand that you won't be able to respond due to traveling.

If you apply but don't show up or drop out during the game without notice, in future games I might also give preference to other players who have a better track record of showing up. I am aware though that life and technical problems can always happen, so don't worry if you have a valid reason though.

These rules are not in place to prevent players from playing but in fact to enable players willing to play to actually do so. It's frustrating if I have to turn down players if it turns out they would in fact have been able to play.

I'll play as well, Kubeba Lipukaji, 3rd level Uplifted Bear Solarian.
Note: I'll be using a Jadnura replay, but I have forgotten a few of the details anyway (but I do remember I last time I almost succeeded at telekinetically lifting someone out of their vehicle :P )

Which is a good reminder: There is no vehicle combat tag in this scenario but it might be a good idea to at least look over the vehicle combat rules quickly before the game.

Dyzx may have to do a mysticism check...and do we need to bring any bear spray?

Shouldn't be too high DC as Uplifted Bears have a CR of 1+. But surprisingly, you do need Mysticism, as they are Magical Beasts (also an important thing to keep in mind if you have any spells that only work on humanoids).
And if you promise not to bring any bear spray, I won't bring any bug spray ;)

:D Haha! ...and I don't have Charm Person and am not high enough level for Charm Monster.

By the way: Probably no game next week as I am traveling.

Should I try to block off any time on the 21st/22nd or should I assume that everyone is already busy anyway?

I'm not going to be available on the 21st/22nd, so I'll leave that decision to others.

I have got time on the 21st/22nd

Any preferences on 6 vs. 7 players? 7 is never ideal but it might have a bit less of an impact on this one.

Edit: One player might have to drop out, so Tara is in. Should the other player be able to make it, I'll simply run it with 7 players.

We'll pencil in the 22nd then and I'll ask again a bit closer to the date.

The server is up again.

As the Teamspeak channels seem to have been wiped, we'll just use the generic SF one.

Chronicle drafts sent (if I had your previous chronicle).

There's a low chance I might be able to run something next SUN (15th) at around 20 PM UTC (but would need to be short and not require too much prep; with the risk of cancellation if complications arise).

A higher chance of a game on SUN 22nd if we have enough players (be sure to tell me whether you are available if you haven't done so already).

No game on the 28th/29th for obvious reasons.

The games are getting a bit tough because there's not a lot of choices of scenarios not already run left. Basically three old scenarios + 3 brand new ones + 2 new December releases left.
