View Full Version : Character sheet maximum size

I'm currently working on a new character sheet for FG1 and found out an odd thing. The original sheet that shipped with Fantasy Grounds has 550x685px dimensions. A friend of mine created some cool graphics for our new sheet, but he made them slightly wider and shorter, namely 582x651px. I have imported the first image into a newly created ruleset and began working on it, when I realised the image got cropped on the right edge! Of course, I did change the <defaultsize /> element to reflect that, but at first I didn't touch the <charsheet /> element, which is the "master class". When I changed the dimensions of the "master class" even more weird thing happened - my sheet began to "loop" on the right side and although it's dimensions got bigger, it was still cropped, but there was also a next copy emerging (it's left edge on the right side of the first copy, that's why I said it "looped").
Is there a limit to the charsheet size? Or perhaps it's caused by having mixed the original graphics, which are smaller, with my own?

Edit: Okay, on second reading of your post, it seems your problems are not because of that bug. I have a ruleset with a character sheet that's width is 629 pixels and it shows fine. You sure you remembered to change the width of the charsheet in both charsheet.xml and d20_graphics.xml?

Problem solved. I did change the size of the character sheet everywhere in charsheet.xml, but didn't do so in d20_graphics.xml where it had the original size for the scaling feature - that's why it "looped", which was an odd effect. Now everything is fine.
