The shape pointers (square, circle, and cone) are really cool. Would it be possible to add narrower cones, like 60, 45, or 30 degrees? Or maybe even wider cones out to 180 degrees?

the ability to make any cone type would be better IMO. 1-359.

Feature and enhancement requests should go on the wishlist. I'm sure they will get lost in this forum.

The Pointers Tool Kit lets you create all sorts of shapes - yes, you do need to do a tad bit of coding, but the instructions are all there (on the Wiki) and you can always ask for help :)

I've also been playing around with a new Extension that will allow you to define and create up to 5 Pointer Shapes - its a little way off (got to get the existing DOEs working with FGCv3.3.9 and FGUv4.0.0)

The Pointers Toolkit is on the Wiki

The following cone angles are supported by the client natively. (180, 120, 90, 60, 45, 30 and 5E (length = width, ~53 degrees))

The ruleset can define which one is used as the default angle for a "cone" pointer for that system.

If you want multiple cones available at the same time, then you have to define custom pointers as noted by Dulux-oz.
