View Full Version : Can't Add New Images

I'm trying to add a new image to later use as a background for a map.
I'm dragging and dropping from the stored folder in %appdata% under campaigns -> images etc. as worked in FGC, but a circle with a line through it icon appears as my mouse pointer and nothing happens.
The image is a png and I looked up on the wiki to see if the process was changed. From my understanding of the wiki page https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/Images it should work.

I also tried adding it in various ways to the assets as I am trying to make it a background for a new map. No dice. In fact, no visible way on how to make a new asset.

Has anyone succeeded in adding custom images or map backgrounds yet? Asking for a friend...

It should show up in Assets under Images > Campaign. If not check the name of the file. Although I believe it is fixed there was an issue with .jpg/.png requiring all lowercase. Though that has been fixed. Make sure your FGU is up to date.

Thanks, I assume that will work, but earlier today I posted about my issue of being unable to update.
I'll try to figure out how to force it.

Inoto,

If you haven't figured it out yet; make sure to read the Assets bullet point under Known Differences in this thread:
https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?50483-FGU-Playtest-Known-Items

Also, check out the revised documentation that Doug has been working on:
