I am able to close the Error splash screen and try to open a campaign. Error text copied and pasted below.

Additionally, FGU is crashing when I try to open a new campaign or try loading a new campaign. I tried opening using the cloud server and my local server. I also switched between the public and private options.

Check that whatever security software you are using hasn’t quarantined FG.

Check that whatever security software you are using hasn’t quarantined FG.

It finally loaded and opened a new campaign. I haven't tried to open the existing campaign again, because I am testing the features within this new campaign.

Thank you for the response.

I am experiencing this issue, again. As I outlined in another post, I am not able to start any FGC campaign. It will crash or sit in a Not Responding state using huge portions of my memory.

The inability to move campaigns from FGC to FGU is known. I don't see that it has been given a number yet, but I may be looking for the wrong description.

At this point, you will have to assume you can not copy/move campaigns from FGC to FGU.

Thanks again, Lord of Entrails. (I am getting some joy out of saying this.)

The initial error that you posted indicates to me that something is blocking outgoing HTTP requests we use to check for updates.

If you have a particular campaign that is not loading from FGC, first try deleting the modulestate.xml in the campaign folder to clear the loaded modules list. If that does work, then it's most likely a memory issue, and we're aware of that. If that doesn't work, then please zip up your campaign folder, and send my way.

The initial attempt to open the FGC campaign after deleting the modulestate.xml file was unsuccessful. FGU shutdown completely. I deleted the modulestate.xml file for a FGU campaign. It opened successfully, but still uses an extreme amount of memory.

Thanks for providing your campaign in PM. I was able to successfully load the campaign on my end, so not sure what is keeping you from loading.

For the initial web errors you reported, those should not affect play, just whether you receive update notifications. Those original messages appear to indicate something is blocking HTTPS requests/responses from FantasyGrounds.exe.

For the failure to load, so far, it seems to usually be a out of memory issue (which we're investigating) or an error during load. Since I was able to load here, I'm not thinking it is an error to load; though you may want to do a Check For Updates given the paragraph above to make sure you have latest version. The only other thing I can think of to check right now is how many files are in the FG data folder under tokens/ and images/ subfolders. They "should not" impact the memory footprint in FGU initially, but that used to be issue with FGC, and might be something I need to investigate in FGU.

I might try to see if Doug or one of the developers can try as well to see if they can also load up without issue; or if they are also failing to load that specific campaign.

I was also able to load your Out of the Abyss campaign without issue in both Local Private and Public Cloud modes. Can you try loading it in Local Private mode to see if it is actually a problem with the network connection?

Do you have an exception added for Fantasy Grounds in your firewall and security software?
