Using the Savage Worlds ruleset. I copied over an existing campaign (using Eberron conversion - but I did not bring over any other modules or extensions - there are references to the Wayfinders Guide via the open everything extension on FGC).

The campaign opened up ok. I was able to poke around. I pulled up a Dragon and tossed an attack into the chat. Dice rolled just fine (faster than FGC). The following error pops up (but it does not crash the program - I can do it again with the same results)

Follow Up - I got the same type of error with a new Savage Worlds campaign.

Did your FGC campaign use any extensions? I'm seeing this "widgetfactory_benny.lua"" and not thinking that is something from a core product...

Does this repeat in a campaign created in FGU?

I'll run it again and post the specific one later today - I did get a similar error with a FGU created SWADE campaign (the original is SWADE as well) - so no extensions or anything.

[*=1]Ruleset(s) you are experiencing the issue(s) in.
[*=1]Is this a newly FGU created campaign or one migrated from FGC?
[*=1]What modules do you have loaded? Are any of these DLC from sources other than the FGU updater? (i.e. manually migrated or 3rd party content)


1. In testing it, its any automated trait or damage roll. I can just roll the dice and its fine. If I double click a skill or attack, that seems to work (although I thought one time it did not). But if I drag and drop the dice into the tray it generates an error (note it does roll the dice, it does not crash, it just pops up the log of the issue). I replicated this with NPCs and PCs.

3. I think that is what I have been posting. Note it pops up own it own.
4. Savage Worlds - SWADE. I did not have this issue when I tried the D&D 5E sample campaign
5. Both.
6. This will occur with the bare minimum SWADE GM and SWADE players guides loaded.

The SWADE unity ruleset is riddled with errors. I have a day off work tomorrow so I will start logging them all.

Might you be willing to list the xml errors you find and the corrections for them?

I suspect such a list would be very useful to other community devs as they work to update their rulesets and extensions.

I am confused. I am more than happy to list errors where I find them but the Savage Worlds ruleset is not a community ruleset. Are you saying the smiteworks not working to fix the savage worlds unity ruleset?

SWD/SWADE are maintained by Ikael who doesn't work for SmiteWorks, so he will need to be involved for any updates within SWD/SWADE. Also, SWD/SWADE is not 100% built on CoreRPG, so it is possible there will be many updates needed to be FGU compatible.

Many of the rulesets needed some modification to get working in Unity. I get those messages in Pathfinder, Startfinder, 2e D&D, etc. as well, so it's not just SWD/SWADE.

This was not how the kickstarter was sold. One of the core aims was to not break fantasy grounds.
If it is sold through the store, it will be updated. But, not everything is ready for FGU (without problems) at this point. Somethings are available in FGU but haven't been tested, that is so that the beta testers can test and identify such issues.

You do not need to make the corrections if you do not want to. Identifying them is more than helpful enough :) But, if you want to, then making a list of errors and their solutions (like; "<-" must be replaced with "<--" etc) would be helpful to those that are making the corrections in multiple rulesets, extensions, etc.

I can confirm with V4.0.0 that the dice rolling issue for SWADE appears to be fixed. One bug quashed!
