Did you have a player joined to your game with the correctly spelled languages on their character sheet?

Yea, I thought about that too. But FGC shows the scrambled text to players that dont have the language. In this case they dont even see (hear) that anything has been said.

Yes, i checked, and as you see on the Screenshot, it shows like the Player understood, but it doesn't show.

I have checked in on this issue and it appears to be working correctly at the moment with my testing with a local client. Can someone report back if they are still experiencing the issue and provide steps and images for me?

@superteddy57 - do you see, or can you select, any languages in the drop down menu on the player side?

Ah, from the way I read the ticket it was related to the custom font coming to the client side. Thank you for pointing out the language selector was not working.

I think there’s probably more than one functionality issue going on. Hopefully caused by just one underlying bug...

Yeah, that is what I'm currently investigating and see if we can fix it.

As the server with the ultimate license I can see and use the function and the clients can read it correctly. The clients however can not select the drop down box to select another language.

Known issue. Created a ticket to track and resolve FGU-1023.

The selection of the language on the client's side is a separate issue. Created a ticket to track and resolve FGU-1023.

4/10/2020 - players using demo D&D 5e connecting to FGU unlimited license cannot use the Speak Language in the chat window. Regardless what languages they know they can’t get the drop down menu in the speak language bubble. I confirmed using my laptop as demo connecting to the session as well. As the GM the drop down list worked and if a player had the language on their character sheet, they could understand it. They just could not pick any languages to speak back in.

Thank you,
Karykzen
