Character restrictions: No special forces, Swat, Commando or other specialist in combat training.
Details of your scenario: "The world starts falling apart. Other than some alarming news about escalating random violence and discussion of a new strain of PCP, life is normal. April 20, 2016 things start to rapidly change."
This is a zombie apocalypse game where survival is the drive, but you need people to survive and people change with confrontation.
The AFMBE system uses a d10 for task / combat resolution trying to get a 9+ result with skills and attributes. It's easy to learn and detailed enough to try anything your imagination wants to. Experience increases skills and Qualities while reducing Drawbacks (issues you character might have either mental, social or physical). There are no levels so players are at various levels of skill ability, but no one is better than another within close character points. Experience is earned for attending the session, roleplay and creativity like problem solving and promoting the story forward by your actions.
My gaming style is defined as I don't let the game system get in the way of the players fun or the story. You can try anything, how ever hard it is. You also may pay for that attempt. This type of genre lends itself to inter-player conflict if it's in character. If you only want to play to irritate players with a psycho, you won't last long in the story or the game. I run a clean game so players are not allowed to perform any sexual crimes. Also, no religious slander. Some cursing is allowed but I don’t want "F*@#" bombs or any form of using the Lord's name in vain. I realize sometimes people slip, but please try to not.
I will work out a character during any evening to get you into the game. Only 2 sessions have been played and still on Day 1.
