I did not see an answer to this in searching the forum so I must ask,
Why is the best parts of character management not usable in the campaign setting? In particular, I would prefer the multiple methods of ability management. As the GM, I (often) have to help someone remote create a character but as soon as they connect, they lose "roll" and "points" tabs that is oh-so-helpful.

You can use this extension in a campaign for the 4d6 drop lowest https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?22637-DMFirmy-s-Drop-Lowest-Extension
I don't know why this isn't a campaign feature - probably because it isn't needed if the player is connected to the GM. I suspect most people use the standard array anyway so not sure how much use the the roller or point buy gets. You aren't going to like Unity either since manage characters is completely removed from it.
