Are you guys planning on opening up a chat channel and voice channel for alpha users? That would help when we test hosted game testing.

I hope I am allowed to answer this :) Moon Wizard answered the same question in Discord and I was able to find it again:


Yeah, the problem with an alpha forum is that we would have to communicate with ~100 playtesters and coordinate getting their Discord user names. Plus, I am the only developer that checks Discord, and I try to only check from time to time in order to allow me time to actually work on FGU and help with support in general.
We'll probably do a public Discord channel once we move into beta, since we'll have upwards of ~8000 potential people in beta testing.

I wasn't thinking about it as a support channel, but rather a method that testers could look for others to help test things or ask questions of the alpha community.

Ah okay, then I misunderstood your post, sorry :) But probably the argument about "coordinate getting their Discord user names" would still apply, we will see what will happen with respect to that :)
