Good afternoon,
I'm using the Demo version to test Fantasy Grounds, and have loaded up the Gurps pak file into the appropriate folder. However, I'm not seeing a lot of the functionality, for a moment I had some drop-down boxes with skills, spells and the like, but when I reloaded the game I can't find those again nor for the life of me figure out what I did to get to those? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Cull7

Welcome to the FG forums Cull7.

If you're using the demo and loading a test campaign, then anything you enter will not be saved - this is a restriction of the demo as far as GM functionality goes.

Additionally, the GURPS ruleset is a community ruleset (a very good one), but due to copyright restrictions, it's not possible to provide community modules of the main GURPS material.

More information regarding functionality etc. is discussed in this thread: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?49956-Question-in-regard-to-how-functional-it-is

So any of the skills, spells, disadvantages and the like will have to be built into a module?

Yes. Or entered into the relevant data records within a campaign for use in that campaign - but you need at least the Standard license to do this.

Thanks! That explains it.

Although (if you didn't realize it) if you use Gurps Character assistant and export your characters you can import those into Fantasy Grounds and they will have all the skills to click on etc.

And soon (on the next release, 4.12), GURPS Character Sheet (https://gurpscharactersheet.com/) will also support exporting characters to Fantasy Grounds.

Do we know when roughly next release of GCS is supposed to appear?

Rich (author of GCS) posted this on Discord, Friday 8/31/19:

I need to either finish up working around the packaging tool that the Java 11+ releases removed, or wait for the Java folks to finally ship the replacement — which seems to get pushed back a release with every new release....
So... really depends on my vanishingly small free time.

But he also told me that as more people ask about it, the more chance it will happen ;-) So feel free to check out https://gurpscharactersheet.com/ and let him know ;-)
